Why is this asp.net core post request returning 405 (method not allowed)? As this ver having null service is send status as 204 no content. By passing in the path portion of your url as the request object data parameter.

In above code variable ver is assign to null, print ver before returning and see the value. The server you are calling is telling you that the post method is not allowed for the url you are trying to call.
