It was called either licuala grandis or licuala elegans. I have had one in the entrance hall for nearly 4 years and it looks great. Here is a grouping of licuala peltata var. They're slow growers, of course, but steady ones.
However, grandis is one that gives me problems in the house. The undivided leaf form of licuala peltata is licuala peltata var. Just lost my little licuala elegans. Jeff marcus calls them licuala elegans whereas rps sell the seeds as licuala peltata var.
