Casehistory came up the year before. I was wondering if anyone had made any comparisons between the great gatsby by fitzgerald and the ruined maid by thomas hardy. I would suggest anything by ipsen/bronte.

The ruined maid does not come up in higher tier papers, and oapoadm and lgs are the least likely poems to come up as they both came up last year. As previously mentioned, 'give' and 'the ruined maid' haven't come up ever.
The ruined maid of the title is a working class girl who has been taken as a mistress. This was highly immoral at the time and yet she is better off than her friend who still. The poem 'the ruined maid' is also great for comparison x It's been a while since 'medusa' has been mentioned and it's one of my favourites to talk about so i'm hoping.
We have been given an exam to compare social class to two poems in the aqa pree 1900 love poetry anthology.
